I recently stayed at House of Toby in London, and it was a nice experience overall. The bed was comfortable, and the sheets and room were clean, which made for a pleasant environment. The staff were very helpful and attentive, always ready to assist with anything I needed. They even accommodated a late check-in due to my international flight, which I really appreciated. The location is also great, being near King’s Cross Station, making it easy to get around and explore London.

The House of Toby is a clean and tidy hotel located in a quiet and peaceful area of St. Pancras. No traffic, sirens, or city noise can be heard, making it an ideal place to rest. Its position is also excellent from a logistical point of view, being within easy walking distance of key transport hubs such as St. Pancras and King’s Cross. The room is spacious, with an extremely comfortable bed, and the curtains provide enough darkness that an eye mask is almost unnecessary. The bathroom is well designed, with a large shower and enough space to store one’s belongings in the wardrobe. The staircase, though narrow, is well maintained and clean. The staff are courteous and precise, and breakfast offers good-quality croissants and pastries (I did not try the savoury options). They also kindly offered complimentary luggage storage after check-out.

How close they were at all times and always willing to help. I was alone and stayed 6 nights, the first night I was scared but then when I get to know the hotel I felt safe. They have 24/7 desk receptionist with also 24/7 security cameras so it is nice to know they are attentive. The beds are very comfortable after walking all day needed a good rest and was perfect. There are a lot of food places near, and one of the biggest stations at 6 minutes walking. Finally, I was able to leave my luggage until 7 p.m. which was nice to go see a few more places. I do not have any photos but I can asure it looks as in their pictures.

The hotel is just a few minutes walk from St Pancras and King's Cross stations, which makes it super conveniently located. The staff there were lovely. The price is also very reasonable. Last, but not least, I very much enjoyed the style of this hotel. It felt very cozy.

I was upgraded from a deluxe single to a deluxe double which was nice. The room was relatively small but perfectly manageable. It was extremely well furnished and decorated and perfectly clean. Similarly, the shower room was small but more than adequate from my needs. The shower was great with plentiful hot water. There was also very efficient air-conditioning whch was a great bonus in the few days I was there as temperatures were very high.The staff that I met were really great - always welcoming and friendly, and very helpful. I was able to leave my luggage there, both before checking in and again at the end of my stay before I went back to the train station. which was only a short walk away. I will definitely stay here again next time I'm in London.

What I loved most was the staff. The staff was warm, smiling, and incredibly accommodating. They told me everything I needed to know without me asking. How to check in, the reception opening hours which is 24/7, the luggage storage… the staff was perfect. The room was comfy despite being small but you have absolutely everything you need so that makes up for the space.

An excellent stay in this little gem just a short away from King's Cross St Pancras. Easy to find- warm welcome from the lovely gentleman at the front desk. The room was small but very cosy- the bathroom was standard size with one of the best showers I've ever seen in a hotel. Plenty of teas and coffees, very comfortable bed. I stayed during the week and it was very quiet. I didn't get to try the breakfast but passed the buffet on my way to work in the morning and it looked amazing. I would very seriously consider staying there for leisure in the future, as it ticked all the boxes for me.

First off, the staff were incredibly helpful and nice. I've read some reviews where others found the staff ... otherwise ... but our experience was great. Lots of stairs to get to the room, but the staff eagerly helped us with the luggage. Also, most folks need only negotiate the stairs twice daily. Given the location and excellent nightly rate, the room was spacious and very clean. There was plenty of space to move around the room. The shower was spacious for a budget London room. I'd definitely stay here again.

Excellent location - 8 minute walk from King's Cross Station. Staff very friendly and helpful. Front desk is manned 24 hours which is reassuring in many ways. Room was ultra small BUT was surprisingly comfortable.
